nautical wedding

this bride & groom got married on a yacht, and they sent their invitations rolled inside of glass bottles (how cool is that?!). we went with a subtle nautical theme with a handwritten-style font for the invitation, and i created a custom monogram featuring an anchor that we used on all the coordinating pieces. we did an invitation, map, name & favor tags, thank you card and pennant-style banner.

custom stationery

this week i've worked on a couple fun, custom business card + notecard designs.  first was for carissa at lillies & silk.  carissa wanted to incorporate gold and a contemporary style, while using the cursive from her current blog design. i love the contrast between the rough illustration of the flower and the clean lines of the pattern.

next up was amber at sweet emotions makeup artistry.  amber really loves my macaron notecard, so we used the same format but swapped out the macarons for eyeshadows, using her favorite colors.  i really love how this turned out, and the pops of color against the neutral grays and black.

herringbone notecards

just added this notecard to my etsy shop!  i posted it on instagram earlier (follow me @heatherlmyers) and asked for feedback on the colors.  the majority voted navy or mint, but each color got a few votes (my personal fave is the warm gray) so i decided to offer all four.
