Hi, I'm Heather. Welcome to river & bridge.

I am graphic designer in Orange County, California. I spent the early part of my career designing logos and marketing materials for businesses, but once I became a mom, I also started designing party invitations and stationery. In January of 2012, I launched river & bridge, which offers stylish, sophisticated invitations and stationery for kids (and grown-ups too!). I offer custom work and also sell my designs on Etsy.

When I start a new design, I first think about what is predictable or expected for the theme. Then I go in the opposite direction! Kids' invitations can be fun, but sophisticated at the same time. I think about what parents would be excited to send out- a design that truly reflects the family's personality and style.

When I'm not working, I enjoy having picnics at the park with my kids and checking out new restaurants with my husband (we are total foodies!) As a working mom, free time isn't something I have a lot of, so my husband and I try to maximize the time we have, which many times means enjoying wine and a movie in our living room, after the kids go to bed.

river & bridge is named for my kids, Hudson & London.  They inspire me every day!
