i made this invitation for my son's 4th birthday! the original draft featured a more rounded tent, which my son said would not do. "it looks like a cave, mom." so i was instructed to create a more triangular tent. (gotta love the honesty of almost-4-year-olds.) but, he was right. the new tent looks better.
the back of the invitation is a hand-drawn map, which also scored points with my son because he LOVES maps. i printed the invitation on kraft paper to give it a more outdoorsy feel.
